Shin Bu Kai Karate Do combines the Traditions of Japanese Karate and Kobujutsu with the modern fighting arts as in Kick Boxing, Tournament Karate and Boxing.

It was developed in 1968 in Australia to become one of the major Karate systems taught in Australia, US and Japan. This system of Karate do was developed by Les Ányos (Sosai) who first stepped into a Boxing Gym in 1956. He has been involved in the Fighting Arts ever since.

The Ányos' have become one of the respected and well known Martial Art Clan in Australia and overseas continuing the development the Fighting style and Arts of Shin Bu Kai.
